VRML ANIMATIONS

VRML : Virtual Reality Modeling Language is a standard language for describing 3-D objects and worlds delivered across the Internet.
This module uses VRML version 2.0 (which provides 3-dimensional animations).
To play these animations, you need a VRML 2.0 browser.
If you have a VRML 1 browser (such as Live3D) you will not see these animations.
Here are instructions on how to download free VRML browser.

Where to find a VRML browser

For Windows 95 and Windows NT:

Cosmo Player by Silicon Graphics Inc.
Plug-in for Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Live3D 2.0 (beta version) from Netscape.
Netscape plug-in.

  World View 2.0 from Intervista.
Plug-in for Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

For Sun Solaris :

No plug-in at present available for Sun.

  Liquid Reality from Dimension X.
A VRML 2 browser written in Java. To be used as an applet.

How to use it

Refer to the instructions for the browser installed on your platform.
In this module, the most useful navigation function is the "viewpoints" (This can be accessed by clicking with the right button in the VRML window).
For each animation, there are 2 or 3 angles of view to help you to understand the orbit movement.

In some of the VRML animations in this module, you will see the following command buttons:
