NPP “Science Test” Web Page: Somewhat like the GOES Science Tests that have taken place after the launch and successful orbit of each of several GOES, a similar web page has been started for the NPOESs Preparatory Project (NPP) “Science Test”. The page will contain pertinent information on the checkout of the Visible/Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) in particular, featuring the work of the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS)/StAR Imagery and Visualization Team that is headed by the NOAA/NESDIS/StAR/RAMMB.
