A “false color” or “pseudo-true color” RGB composite of VIIRS channels I-1 (blue), I-2 (green) and I-3 (red). Due to the channels used in this composite, liquid clouds appear white/tan, ice clouds appear white-blue, and snow appears as a more vivid blue.
