Stardust is also known as Discovery-4, one of the NASA Discovery-series spacecraft. In July 2007 the extended mission called NExT (New Exploration of Tempel 1) was approved. The mission will reuse the Stardust spacecraft to revisit Comet 9P/Tempel 1.
Deep Impact is also known as Discovery-7, one of the NASA Discovery-series spacecraft.
Contour is also known as Discovery-6, one of the NASA Discovery-series spacecraft, which failed upon launch.

1Deep Space-1 had a secondary cometary-exploration mission, in addition to a primary asteroid-exploration mission. Deep Space-2 consists of a set of two probes launched with the Mars Polar Lander (MPL). Deep Space-4 was canceled and therefore never built or launched.
2The 50th anniversary of Europa was in 2006 and the Michel catalogue and most other information sources give 2006 as the year of issue of these stamps. The exception is Lollini, with a year of issue of 2005 in his catalogue and FDCs, but that appears to be an error. The authors list this set with the year 2006.
