Switzerland890 (Mi1444)1991"Ariane-4" launch V-39 on 12 October 1990, with an artistic depiction of Galaxy-6 and SBS-6 in a vertical stack1 in the upper stage of the rocket, ready to be deployed as the fairing is jettisoned
Switzerland890-891 fdc1One of two stamps on FDC (multi-color printed cachet)
Switzerland890-891 fdc2One of two stamps on FDC card (MSiwss PTT cachet)
Switzerland890-891 fdc3(Swiss PTT) FDC postcard back (but front is missing and therefore existence of stamps and a cancel is questionable)

1Ariane-4 used the cylindrical SPELDA (Structure Porteuse Externe pour Lancements Double Ariane) housing inside the fairing for double satellite launches. The artistic rendering in the stamp shows a flat panel but that is misleading. It should be curved, as part of the cylindrical SPELDA housing.
