The benefit of overlaying the mean wind and forecast supercell motion on radar data cannot be overstated.

Assignment: Develop a procedure to overlay radar data, supercell motion forecasts, and the mean wind (RUC40, state scale). Use it in operations, and I'm convinced you will see improvement in your warnings and short-term forecasts.
