Instructions on how to create this enhancement in AWIPS

For this enhancement we want to make the 8.0 to -1.5 °C temperature range (near freezing) have a linear change between different shades of blue. For the rest of the enhancements the red, green and blue counts were all the same since we were using black and white to make different shades of gray. Now the values of red, green and blue must be set individualy so the proper colors are shown.
When doing the linear change between 8.0 and -1.5 °C follow these steps:
  1. With the upper arrow at 8.0 °C set the value of red to 0, green to 19 and blue to 202.
  2. With the lower arrow at -1.5 °C set the value of red to 3, green to 213 and blue to 244.
  3. Press the Interpolate button.
Now you have set the colorized portion of the enhancement. The rest of the enhancement is the same as the others that are not colorized. For further directions on how to set these enhancements Click Here
