DMSP
|
This page contains philatelic information on the U.S. military DMSP (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program) series satellites. Catalog numbers, years of issue, and notes on the satellites featured are given when available. If readers know of additional information or images, please contact the authors using the e-mail addresses at the bottom of this page.
The current DMSP series are built on the same spacecraft bus as NOAA-series satellites. Therefore, it is hard to distinguish between the two, and items that are not specifically identified are assumed to be NOAA rather than DMSP.
