DMSP

DMSP
series

This page contains philatelic information on the US Air Force (USAF) DMSP (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program) series. Catalog numbers, years of issue, and notes on the satellites featured are given when available. If readers know of additional information or images, please contact the authors using the e-mail addresses at the bottom of this page.

DMSP series are built on the same spacecraft bus as NOAA-series satellites. Therefore, it is hard to distinguish between the two, and items that are not specifically identified are assumed to be NOAA rather than DMSP.
